I’m a copywriter based in East Sussex, U.K.

I’ve always loved reading and writing. As a child, I curled up every morning with a book beside our ancient heating vents and would often finish two books before breakfast.

A few years after university I got my dream job in children’s publishing. I’d work late every night, making Vine videos (anyone remember those?!) and Tumbler sites to promote books. One day a local school got in touch asking for volunteer readers. I soon found myself grabbing a new picture book each week and attempting to read it to wriggling 5 year olds. It was the highlight of my week and made me so happy that I ended up quitting my dream job to be a Professional Storyteller.

10 years later, I’m now living beside the sea in East Sussex in a cottage that hums in the wind. And whilst I still travel across the South East telling folktales and brand stories, I need to balance this with work that I can do sat down listening to my cats snore.

I have a strong background in Education, having worked as a Governance Professional taking minutes for Boards, so I’m perfectly poised to take on your educational copywriting project.
